Shopping Assistant Disclosure
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Recidex's Shopping Assistant is a guided overlay: it walks you through your grocery list at your store, one item at a time, searching each item for you. You pick every product, you fill your own cart, and you check out yourself. Recidex never places orders, adds items to your cart, or checks out on your behalf.
How Recidex makes money on shopping
We charge a simple service fee for the Shopping Assistant: a free trial, then a $1 week pass for unlimited assisted shopping at any supported store. That's it — no subscription, no markup on your groceries.
As an Amazon Associate, Recidex earns from qualifying purchases. When you start an Amazon shopping session from Recidex, the link that opens Amazon carries our Associates ID, and Amazon may pay us a small commission on what you buy there — at no extra cost to you. It never changes the price you pay or which products you see. No other retailer pays us anything.
Editorial independence
We choose which retailers to support based on what makes sense for the families who use Recidex — broad US coverage, fair pricing, no service-fee gouging. We do not write recipe content, recommend recipes, or rank discovery results based on any retailer relationship.
