Directions

  1. 1

Combine butter, peanut butter and sugars and beat until mixed well. Add egg and vanilla extract.

  2. 2

Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder in separate bowl then gradually add to the wet mixture.

  3. 3

Once combined scoop out two tbsp sized balls of cookie dough and then spread out on large parchment covered baking sheet. Flatten them slightly with the palm of your hand or the bottom of a glass cup.

  4. 4

Bake for 8 minutes at 350 degrees then pull the cookies out and slam the baking tray against the counter a few times, this flattens the cookies out further and helps them bake perfectly. Place back into the oven and bake for 3-4 more minutes. Remove and let cool before melting your chocolate and dipping the cookies in. Done best by adding a dollop to the cooled parchment paper and then letting them sit. Makes about 14-16 cookies.
