Nanette's Cinnamon Rolls

Homemade cinnamon rolls made in a bread machine or by hand, with a cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients

  • 1 unit egg
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1.5 c warm water
  • 1.5 t salt
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1/4 c dry milk
  • 1/4 c potato flakes
  • 4 c flour
  • 1 T yeast
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 3 T cinnamon
  • 1/4 c butter cream cheese frosting
  • 1/4 c cream cheese frosting
  • 1 unit vanilla frosting
  • 1 unit powdered sugar frosting
  • 1 unit milk frosting

Directions

    In bread machine or both: Bread machine on dough setting (1 hr 40 min) or by hand mix: let dough in size, 1 hr 40 min

    Roll out in large rectangle. Sprinkle with 1/2 c brown sugar, 3 T cinnamon, mix together

  3. 3

    Spread butter over entire rectangle strips before sprinkling w/ the brown sugar & cinn

  4. 4

    Add raisins if you want (grease pan)

  5. 5

    Roll up, cut w/ thread (makes about 20-24)

  6. 6

    Let double in size again before baking

  7. 7

    Bake 350°F 10-12 min
