Cheese Quiche
A light and savory quiche made with eggs, cream, sharp cheddar cheese, and spices in a pastry crust.
Ingredients
- 8 unit eggs
- 3 cups sour cream or heavy cream
- 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 unit A Very English Crust

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Mix together the eggs, cream, nutmeg, and salt and pepper.

Shred the cheese and layer the bottom of the crust.

Pour the egg mixture over the cheese.

Bake for 45 minutes and then cover with tinfoil for a remaining 30 minutes to prevent the crust from over-browning. The quiche is done when a knife comes out clean.
