Homemade Bread

A soft, sliceable homemade yeast bread perfect for sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups warm water
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 4-4½ cups flour

Directions

    In a bowl mix warm water, honey, and yeast. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy.

    Add olive oil, salt, and flour.

    Mix into a soft dough.

    Knead 3-4 minutes.

  5. 5

    Shape into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan.

    Cover and let rise 25 minutes.

    Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.

    Brush with butter.
